Our 2025 Youth Scholarship Program
FAAJA’s Youth Scholarship Program is committed to uplifting the next generation of leaders through leadership development, civic engagement, entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage. Through mentorship and meaningful opportunities, the program empowers youth to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
On August 2, 2025, FAAJA hosted its inaugural Youth Scholarship Awards in Orlando, recognizing outstanding Asian American students from across Florida for their leadership, innovation, and commitment to cultural heritage. Featuring the Civic Leadership, Creativity & Entrepreneurship, and Culture & Heritage Awards, the program celebrates youth who demonstrate exceptional initiative, community engagement, and dedication to preserving cultural identity. Complemented by FAAJA’s Youth Leadership Summer Camps, this initiative reflects FAAJA’s mission to cultivate the next generation of confident, impactful leaders and strengthen a united, empowered Asian community in Florida.
This scholarship program included all regions of Florida, including South Florida, Central Florida, and North Florida.
Qualifications & Awards:
All applicants need to be in grades 9-12 in a Florida High School and have a GPA either 3.0 or above.
1st Prize: $1000 (1 per region)
2nd Prize: $600 (up to 2 per region)
3rd Prize: $400 (up to 3 per region)
Scholarship Categories:
Civic Leadership: Empower young leaders to raise awareness of political issues, advocate for their communities, and foster civic engagement for monthly needs.
Creativity & Entrepreneurship: Empower young leaders who are passionate about launching business initiatives, or driving innovation in their communities.
Culture & Heritage: Empower young leaders to celebrate their cultural identity and raise awareness about the richness of Asian heritage.
